Paralegal
At Inriver, we help brands deliver better product experiences - everywhere their customers are. From the first product detail to the final purchase decision, we make product information work smarter. When our platform is secure, our teams ship with confidence and it enhances customer trust. More than 1,600 global brands trust their product data with us. We are now looking for a Paralegal to join our team in Malmö. This role reports into the Group General Counsel. At Inriver, the Legal team is small and close to the business, which means you'll get responsibility early. As our Paralegal, you'll work on contracts, corporate governance and security and compliance projects across our group companies on three continents. You'll be mentored directly by our Group General Counsel, who will teach you the work and help you take on more as you grow. What you will do 💭 Contracts and templates Draft, review and improve customer, partner and vendor agreements, and help maintain our standard templates and clause library. You'll turn recurring negotiation outcomes into better first drafts and help build playbooks and guidelines. Negotiations, RFQs and RFPs Support Legal's work in RFQ and RFP teams and in negotiations with partners and suppliers. You'll start with guidance from the Group Legal Counsel and gradually take the lead on more of the discussions within an agreed mandate. You'll also coordinate with external counsel when needed. Corporate governance Help maintain the legal structure of our group companies: keep corporate records and registers up to date, prepare annual general meetings and board documents, and prepare and file documents with authorities and registries within local deadlines. You'll also help administer group policies and keep colleagues informed about the rules we need to follow. Security and compliance support Work alongside our Security team on audits, certifications and customer security reviews: gathering evidence, tracking findings and making sure our contractual commitments are reflected in practice. You'll also help review customer Codes of Conduct and follow up on supplier standards. Contract management Own our contract and template repository: keep executed agreements complete and easy to find, keep track of key dates and obligations, and look into tools for e-signature and AI that can make our processes smoother. Support to colleagues across the company Be a first point of contact for HR, IT and Office Management on employment documents, supplier and license agreements, NDAs and day-to-day legal questions, and know when to bring in the Group Legal Counsel. We don't expect you to know everything or to have done all of this before. If you have a solid legal foundation, a good eye for detail and the drive to learn, we'll teach you the rest. Who you are You're an early-career paralegal who wants real responsibility, not just a support role. You like following a task from first draft to signed agreement, you know when to ask for input, and you're curious about how a software business works. We don’t expect you to tick every single box, but for this role we do need most of the following: ✔️ A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Paralegal studies or a similar field ✔️ 1-3 years of experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal role ✔️ A strong foundation in, or experience with, drafting and reviewing commercial contracts such as NDAs, vendor and customer agreements ✔️ Business-level English, written and spoken It's a plus if you have Swedish language skills Experience in-house, at a tech/SaaS company, or in an international setting Basic knowledge of GDPR, or an interest in security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 Experience with contract management The personality traits we are looking for in this role: ✔️ Ownership-minded: you take responsibility and follow your work through ✔️ Commercially minded: you look for workable solutions, not just risks ✔️ A clear communicator who explains legal topics in plain language ✔️ Organised and reliable with deadlines and records ✔️ Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working ✔️ A team player who enjoys working with Legal, Finance, Security, HR and IT Why Inriver 💙 At Inriver, you’ll join a global company with a product at the centre - and people who genuinely care about building something meaningful together. In our Malmö office, you’ll find things like: Tuesday Fika☕ Friday breakfasts to start the day together A running club and social activities for anyone who wants to join A welcoming mix of focused work, collaboration, and a few laughs along the way We work in a hybrid setup, with flexibility and trust as a baseline. Ready to apply? 📬 We’d love to hear from you. If you’re curious but not 100% sure, we still encourage you to apply. We’re happy to explore the fit together!
