Roblox's Vancouver office is a growing hub of engineering talent, and we're looking for someone to shape how the team grows, stays, and thrives. As the Vancouver People & Talent Lead, you'll lead talent strategy for the site while serving as the people and office point of contact for the Vancouver site. This role sits at the intersection of talent strategy and organizational health. You'll work closely with Recruiting, People Business Partners, and Engineering leadership to understand what the Vancouver team needs to scale well, then build the programs, systems, and relationships to make it happen. The experience you create will be a direct expression of Roblox's investment in this team. You will report to the People Business Partner Lead supporting the Vancouver engineering organization. You Will: Talent Strategy Own full-cycle talent acquisition for the Vancouver site. Partner with Engineering leadership to define hiring strategy, recruit for senior and niche technical roles, build local talent pipelines, and support workforce planning as the team scales. Champion Roblox as an employer of choice in the Vancouver tech market through partnerships with universities,, and local industry networks. Collaborate with the Early Careers team to make Roblox Vancouver a standout internship destination by overseeing the local intern program end-to-end and building a pipeline of future full-time hires. Office Health & Employee Experience Drive the programs and rituals that make Vancouver a high-engagement, high-trust office from onboarding to team events to feedback loops that surface what the team actually needs. Serve as the trusted go-to for Vancouver employees: fielding questions, navigating sensitive situations, and connecting people to the right resources across People, Legal, Immigration, and Finance. You Have: 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with depth in technical domains (Engineering, Gaming, Rendering/Graphics, AI/ML, etc.) Demonstrated success hiring senior and niche technical talent in competitive markets A strong track record of influencing stakeholders and solving complex recruiting challenges with creativity and innovation A data-driven approach with the ability to analyze metrics, surface insights, and inform strategy Experience building people programs and systems from the ground up, with outcomes you can speak to A startup mentality and openness to thinking outside the box Excitement about being on-site full-time in Vancouver: you believe in-person presence matters and you show up with energy. You Are: Strategically minded: you can zoom out to understand what a site needs to grow well, then zoom in to execute the detailed work that makes it happen. Proactive, not reactive: you anticipate what the office and employees need before problems surface, and you move fast when they do. For roles that are based at our headquarters in Vancouver, BC, Canada: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page . Annual Salary Range$16,700—$204,530 CAD Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
