Performance Marketer – Google Ads

ABOUT THE ROLE This role leads paid acquisition on Google Ads for a fast-growing AI-powered communication platform serving SMEs across international markets. You'll sit within the Performance Marketing team and own the full cycle — from campaign architecture to tracking setup — with direct accountability for driving measurable growth at significant scale. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Build, structure, and continuously optimise Google Ads campaigns across multiple international markets. - Manage large paid media budgets with a performance-first mindset, currently in the six-figure monthly range and scaling rapidly. - Own end-to-end tracking and conversion setup, including Google Tag Manager, Search Console, and offline conversion uploads. - Design and run systematic A/B tests across campaign structures and landing pages. - Extract learnings from experiments, iterate quickly, and deliver measurable acquisition impact. - Adapt campaign strategies to different market dynamics as the business scales internationally. - Collaborate closely with Go-to-Market managers and the broader Performance Marketing team. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Proven hands-on experience running international Google Ads campaigns at scale, with a clear understanding of cross-market differences. - Demonstrated experience managing large monthly ad budgets (€150k+ monthly, with a path toward €1M/month). - Deep familiarity with tracking and attribution tooling — Google Tag Manager, Search Console, and offline conversion uploads. - Strong analytical, structured mindset with a genuine bias toward testing and data-driven iteration. - Experience extracting performance insights and translating them into optimisation actions. - Excellent English communication skills (company language). - German language proficiency is a strong bonus. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: €65,000 – €100,000 per year. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. LOCATION On-site in Vienna, Austria.
