Pharmacy Technician Supervisor
Responsibilities: Oversee daily technician workflows, queue monitoring, and task assignments to ensure prior authorization requests are processed accurately. Monitor productivity and quality metrics, providing regular 1-on-1 coaching, performance reviews, and cross-training to support skill growth and prepare the team for market expansion. Be the resource for complex intake issues, escalated provider inquiries, and system glitches. Proactively identify and implement process improvements, and resolve daily challenges to keep the team operating. Partner with cross-functional leadership to develop, update, and organize job aids and team training resources. Participate in a rotated weekend and holiday on-call schedule to monitor queues and offer team support when needed. Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Active, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) High school diploma or equivalent 4+ years of work experience in a pharmacy related field 2+ years of performing pharmacy reviews for a managed care plan or pharmacy benefits manager. 1+ years of people or project management experience.
