Piping Process Engineer

<p><em>To one of our important customers in Lund we are now seeking for a Senior Piping Engineer.</em></p><p></p><p><strong>Scope of the assignment</strong></p><p>The candidate shall work in collaboration with multiple projects in ESS.</p><p>The assignment might require cooperation with other divisions as well.</p><p>The candidate will manage and control documentation and correct information from QC documentation to CHESS and ensure that it is also correct for EAM.</p><p>The candidate will participate in coordination and integration meetings, produce the relevant reports and status of the activities.</p><p>The candidate must ensure that documentation from installation is at the correct level for the process and its function.</p><p><em>Supporting ESS</em></p><ul><li><p>Support preparation of testing protocols, verification procedures, and related technical documentation,</p></li><li><p>Support installation activities by clarifying technical questions and resolving design-related issues,</p></li><li><p>Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, and coordination meetings with project teams,</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Support troubleshooting and technical investigations related to electrical systems and equipment,</p></li><li><p>Assist with configuration management and document updates in relevant engineering tools and systems,</p></li><li><p>Supporting project management</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure proper integration of electrical systems,</p></li><li><p>Collect, clarify, and document technical requirements from relevant stakeholders and systems,</p></li><li><p>Assist with drafting activities, including preparation, review, and completion of as-built documentation.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Required education background and professional experience</strong></p><p></p><p>Education in Mechanical Engineering; <a target="_blank" href="http://B.Sc">B.Sc</a>. or similar</p><p>At least 5 years of piping and/or process design work</p><p>Experience and understanding of a complete piping project with its phases and interfaces</p><p>Well oriented in piping systems and its documentation</p><p>Experienced collaboration between detail design and installation/manufacturing</p><p>Understanding of quality and final documentation</p><p>Good knowledge in common norms and standards applicable for process and mechanical engineering and design, specifically PED.</p><p>Experience from Nuclear piping or Oil & Gas design work is preferable.</p><p></p><p><strong>Special expertise needed</strong></p><p></p><p>P&ID rules, Good written and oral communication skills in English.</p><p>Knowledge about installation and commissioning</p><p>Nice to have PED, EN 13445, EN 13480 knowledge</p>
