To our client we are now seeking a 'Master Scheduler' Role overview This is a coordinating and supporting role. Consistent with the substantive PMO Lead job description, the consultant will perform all duties in a coordinating and supporting capacity only — with no managerial, supervisory, or decision-making authority, and no personnel management or strategic ownership responsibilities. The consultant supports the Director of SCP&L and the wider leadership team in governance, reporting, and communication; the consultant does not set strategy, own budget decisions, or manage staff. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities are grouped by priority, reflecting current business criticality within SCP&L’s 2026 transformation agenda: Priority 1 – Business-critical (continuity essential) • PMO Foundational Structure: continue development and rollout of the PMO risk model (Risk Model 1.0), including a basic project follow-up routine and pilot testing across at least two active initiatives; document lessons learned. • Process & Portfolio Governance: maintain and continue improving project and portfolio governance processes, tools, and templates; support consistent tracking of initiative status (ITD, RAG status, milestones) across the transformation portfolio. Priority 2 – Important, ongoing • Stakeholder & Governance Support: maintain existing stakeholder engagement forums, dialogue cadence, and the stakeholder map established for the SCP&L portfolio; support prioritization discussions with initiative owners and leadership. (Note: this is an active, evolving area of the PMO’s work — the incoming consultant should expect ongoing calibration with the Director on scope, not a fully steady-state process.) • PMO Communication: maintain the established monthly portfolio-update format (“PMO Pulse” one-pager), including status summaries and highlighted successes, distributed to SCP&L stakeholders. Required Qualifications & Experience • Proven experience in a PMO, project coordination, or portfolio governance role, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environment. • Demonstrated experience producing structured status reporting and leadership-facing communication materials (e.g. RAG/status dashboards, portfolio one-pagers). • Familiarity with project/portfolio risk frameworks and follow-up routines. • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tooling (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook) and Workday or equivalent HR/performance systems is an advantage. • Experience operating in a large, matrixed, multi-stakeholder organization undergoing transformation. Required Competencies • Strong stakeholder communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority. • Highly structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning recurring governance cadences (reporting, meeting prep, follow-up). • Able to operate effectively in a coordinating/supporting capacity without managerial authority, while still driving progress and accountability through others. • Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving scope in a fast-moving transformation environment. • Professional fluency in English required; Swedish language skills are an advantage given the stakeholder base. Location requirement The position is based in Fagersta, Sweden.
