Port Service Engineer

the opportunity to work overseas, but this is not a mandatory requirement.  Key Tasks and Responsibilities:  Electrical installation, commissioning, inspection, and testing including service and repair of Port Solution products, such as harbour cranes and straddle carriers  Trouble- shooting equipment malfunctions, primarily in Electrical equipment, Drive technologies and PLCs in an industrial environment.   Consulting with customers on repair and safety related issues  Accurate and descriptive problem reporting  Completion of inspection and examination documentation as appropriate  Consulting with customers on repair and safety related issues  What we are looking for in you:  Electrically qualified with a basic understanding of mechanics and hydraulics  Experience of Siemens S7 preferable  Good attention to detail.  Be organised and self-motivated person.  Computer proficient including basic networking and component diagnostics.  Familiar with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) and LOLER  UK driver’s licence  Ability to work at height  Able to spend periods of time away from home (up to two weeks at a time)  At Konecranes, we believe that great customer experience is built on the people behind the Konecranes name.
