This person should be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and translating complex data into clear, actionable business insights.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Intelligence & ReportingDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards, reports, and analytical tools using business intelligence platforms, preferably Power BIPartner with business leaders and internal teams to gather, document, and translate reporting requirements into scalable BI solutionsBuild reporting solutions that support users at multiple levels, from individual contributors to executive leadershipTranslate complex data findings into executive-level insights, recommendations, and decision-support materialsPresent analytics outcomes directly to leadership and business stakeholders Data Modeling, Governance & StandardsOwn the design and ongoing evolution of enterprise BI data models, semantic layers, and KPI definitionsDefine and maintain BI standards, naming conventions, performance optimization practices, and governance controlsSupport consistent KPI definitions and reporting logic across departmentsServe as a steward of sensitive business data, ensuring proper handling, storage, and distribution of confidential internal and external datasets Data Warehousing & Data QualityPartner with IT teams on data warehouse architecture, optimization, and ongoing enhancementAcquire data from internal and external sources and support the integration of that data into enterprise reporting environmentsMonitor data quality and integrity, working with stakeholders to identify and resolve discrepanciesPerform data profiling to validate business requirements, test assumptions, and identify data or process gaps AI, Automation & Advanced AnalyticsLeverage embedded AI and machine learning capabilities within BI tools to support predictive insights, anomaly detection, automated alerts, and natural language query functionalityUse Generative AI tools to accelerate SQL query development, scripting, documentation, and analytics workflowsEvaluate and recommend new BI tools, features, and analytics capabilities that improve reporting efficiency and business outcomes Enablement & Continuous ImprovementServe as a subject-matter expert for Power BI, SQL, analytics best practices, and reporting standardsLead training initiatives to improve analytics maturity across business teamsShare best practices and insights that promote a culture of continuous improvementParticipate in special projects and support additional data or reporting initiatives as needed Required QualificationsExperience2+ years of experience delivering business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft BI stack2+ years of experience writing, maintaining, and debugging SQL queriesExperience designing dashboards, reports, KPIs, and data models for business usersEducationBachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field preferredEquivalent professional experience may be considered Technical SkillsProficiency with business intelligence and visualization tools, preferably Power BIStrong SQL skills, including querying, troubleshooting, and data validationExperience working with large-scale public, private, or proprietary datasetsAbility to analyze data sources and business requirements to build accurate enterprise data models and KPIsExperience using Generative AI tools to support SQL development, scripting, and technical documentationCloud architecture or cloud administration experience is a plus Business &
