Powertrain Simulation Engineer - Model Based Calibration

We are looking for a profile with strong technical, analytical, and fast-learning capabilities; with the ability to defend technical points in meetings with clients, forecast the impact of decisions and the ability to work in a methodological way. Experience with 1D/0D powertrain modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Simcenter Amesim, GT-SUITE, or similar) and proficiency in data analysis and programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB). Experience with vehicle software control function development and integration. Proficiency in model-based calibration techniques, and desirable knowledge of calibration tools and virtual validation environments (MiL, SiL, HiL). Familiarity with test bench operations and data acquisition systems. Deep understanding of powertrain systems, its elements, and component interactions, in conventional as well as electrified vehicle applications. Open, highly motivated personality with hands-on mentality, able to work autonomously as well as being part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with intellectual curiosity and the drive to investigate technical facts in-depth. Education Master of Science or equivalent degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical or Control Systems Engineering. Languages Fluent in English. Other languages will be an asset.
