Pre-Employment Coordinator - The Americas
Key Responsibilities: Adjudicate background checks (criminal, employment, education, and MVR as applicable)  Apply company guidelines and regulatory requirements (FCRA, EEOC, state/local laws)  Assess discrepancies and document clear, audit-ready decisions  Act as liaison with requesters, applicants, and screening vendor  Support adverse action process in partnership with HR/compliance  Monitor performance metrics (turnaround times, backlog, vendor SLAs)  Identify trends and recommend process improvements  Coordinate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with the screening vendor  Support Americas Security, Health and Safety team as needed
Required:  3+ years experience with Expeditors  Highschool diploma or equivalent experience  Knowledge of criminal, education, and employment verifications  Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills  Strong communication and organizational skills  Preferred:  2+ years in background screening, adjudication, or HR compliance  Familiarity with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable hiring regulations  Experience in a high-volume, multi-state environment  Vendor management experience   Ability to interpret complex criminal records  Experience with reporting, metrics, and performance monitoring  Exposure to audits or regulated environments  Process improvement and workflow optimization experience
