Pricing Operations Analyst
Responsibilities: Price Book Management Support creation and maintenance of global price books, including new product introductions, list price changes, regional variants, effective dating, and ongoing accuracy. Drive the pricing release calendar, coordinating change windows with commercial, regional, and systems stakeholders. Contract-Based Pricing Activate and maintain contracted, deviated, and tiered customer pricing in CPQ and ERP, including GPO and IDN agreement terms, membership eligibility, and price expiration tracking. Research and resolve price discrepancies across quote, order, and invoice, correcting the underlying system condition rather than the individual transaction. Support the discount approval process for local commercial leader price decisions. Systems and Configuration Configure and maintain CPQ pricing logic, discounting rules, and approval workflows. Perform regression testing of pricing logic following each system change or price book release. Partner with Systems and IT on CPQ build, enhancement scoping, and defect resolution. Process Design and Optimization Design, document, and improve repeatable price execution processes, removing friction across the quote-to-cash continuum. Evaluate trade-offs between process change and system change, and recommend the approach that delivers the outcome soonest at acceptable operational cost. Enablement and Customer Experience Train and enable sales, sales operations, and regional pricing teams on quoting and price execution, acting as the first point of contact for how-to questions. Improve the quoting and purchasing experience for sales teams and customers, treating both as the customer of this function. Controls and Reporting Maintain controls and audit-ready documentation for all price book and contract pricing changes.   Report on price execution accuracy and quoting cycle time, and act on the trends that surface.
Required Skills and Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in pricing operations, sales operations, order management, contract administration, or business process roles, including a minimum of 2 years of hands-on CPQ configuration. Hands-on configuration experience with a CPQ platform, including pricing rules and approval workflows. Direct experience administering contracted or deviated customer pricing. Demonstrated process design and process mapping capability, with clear written documentation. Attention to detail and accuracy when working with high-volume pricing data. Ability to identify workable solutions inside a fixed system, and to explain trade-offs between process change and system change to non-technical stakeholders. Service orientation toward internal partners and external customers. Advanced Excel skills, with working knowledge of Tableau. Strong collaborator across time zones and functions, with a focus on process integration and optimization. This role requires approximately 10% travel, including international travel. This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week. Required Education and Training Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field Preferred Skills and Experience Background in or familiarity with the healthcare industry, medical devices, and hospital operations. Familiarity with GPO and IDN contract structures and healthcare contract administration. Hands-on experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system, and ownership of price books or comparable master data.
