Principal Platform Engineer

Qualifications: Five or more years of experience as a software developer, followed by experience in platform engineering. Proven experience designing and operating Kubernetes-based platforms in production environments. Experience building or contributing to Internal Developer Platforms (IDP). Hands-on experience with Argo CD, KEDA, Backstage, and Kyverno. Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines for modern and legacy applications. Deep experience implementing observability solutions using Datadog. Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and container platforms. Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform Experience mentoring platform engineering teams. You are highly collaborative and enjoy coaching engineers and teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting AI/ML, Data platforms or model deployment infrastructure. Experience managing multi-cluster Kubernetes environments. Experience with service meshes such as Istio or Kong Experience building large-scale self-service engineering platforms. Contributions to open-source cloud-native or Kubernetes projects. What We Offer: The annual base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $200,000. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
