Product Engineer II – Graph Analysis and Semantic Data Modeling
Overview Join the ArcGIS Knowledge team and build graph and semantic capabilities in Web GIS that help customers model real-world systems and uncover patterns across spatial and nonspatial data. These capabilities support customers ranging from intelligence and public safety, to supply chain resilience and asset management. By combining graph analysis and semantic models with spatial analysis in ArcGIS, you will help customers identify critical nodes and events, uncover new patterns and relationships, and leverage complex data in GeoAI workflows. If you have worked with graph databases, link analysis workflows and semantic models, we would like to hear from you. In this role, you will work closely with engineers, product managers, and customers to design and deliver graph analysis capabilities that address real-world challenges. Responsibilities Work with users and industry experts to identify requirements and workflows Work with engineering and product teams to define, validate, release, and maintain ArcGIS capabilities across the product lifecycle Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to build and test ArcGIS Enterprise and Web GIS functionality for graph databases and graph analytics Contribute to the design and testing of capabilities that combine graph, semantic, and spatial data to power agents, assistants, and GeoAI workflows Assess product quality and release readiness throughout the development process Continue learning and growing while contributing to valuable capabilities for customers Requirements 2+ years of experience using an application development language, such as C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, and/or Python Proven experience in software testing Knowledge of ArcGIS and online services, or other GIS products Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage priorities and tasks as needed in a fast-paced work environment Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, GIS, data science, network science, mathematics, or related field Recommended Qualifications Experience with knowledge graph, ontology, or semantic data modeling concepts Experience with graph and relational databases Experience with graph or link analysis workflows Experience integrating AI and assistant workflows with graph, semantic, or connected data systems Experience writing technical documents for a variety of audiences Master's degree in computer science, engineering, GIS, data science, network science, mathematics, or related field #LI-EL1 #LI-Onsite Total Rewards Esri’s competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
