Product Manager

<p>We are a Singapore-based software consulting firm with a vibrant team in Bandung, seeking a talented <strong>Product Manager / Technical Business Analyst</strong> to join our team.</p><p>In this role, you will work at the intersection of product, business, and technology - understanding client needs, shaping requirements, and working closely with developers, architects, QA engineers, and other project stakeholders to design, implement, and deliver mission-critical web and mobile applications.</p><p>You will help translate business and product needs into practical, scalable, and technically feasible solutions. While the role involves product and business analysis, it also requires a strong technical understanding and the ability to work closely with engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.</p><p>The ideal candidate may come from a Technical Business Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Manager, Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, Product Analyst, Software Engineer, or System Analyst background, provided they have strong technical understanding and experience working closely with software development teams.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Work as a key member of the project team to understand business problems, define requirements, and drive successful project delivery.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with clients, IT teams, system owners, and internal stakeholders to understand business objectives, user needs, and technical requirements.</p></li><li><p>Translate business and product requirements into clear user stories, functional specifications, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Project Managers, and Solution Architects throughout the software development lifecycle.</p></li><li><p>Understand user journeys, business processes, workflows, and product requirements, and translate them into practical software solutions.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with Solution Architects to understand technical considerations related to cloud architecture, DevSecOps, CI/CD, system integrations, and deployment strategies.</p></li><li><p>Evaluate technical feasibility, dependencies, risks, and potential impacts of proposed changes.</p></li><li><p>Analyse business and product requirements and recommend solutions that align with evolving client and user needs.</p></li><li><p>Manage and prioritize requirements and tasks across the project's technical track in a fast-paced environment.</p></li><li><p>Create workflow diagrams, process flows, wireframes, and presentation materials to communicate business, product, and technical concepts effectively.</p></li><li><p>Support the preparation of technical deliverables, including:</p><ul><li><p>Architecture diagrams</p></li><li><p>Cloud hosting and setup documentation</p></li><li><p>Third-party system integration requirements</p></li><li><p>Performance and load testing requirements</p></li><li><p>Solution design and technical specifications</p></li><li><p>Data extraction, transformation, and migration requirements</p></li><li><p>User stories and functional specifications</p></li><li><p>Workflow and business process diagrams</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production activities.</p></li><li><p>Analyse and communicate the impact of requested changes across business, product, and technical areas.</p></li><li><p>Prepare project reports, presentations, and status updates for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously seek opportunities to improve products, solutions, and delivery processes.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p>Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, with excellent academic records or outstanding professional or personal achievements.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in software development, technical business analysis, system analysis, product development, product management, product ownership, solution design, or related technical roles.</p></li><li><p>Strong technical understanding of software development, with prior coding experience and the ability to understand application architecture, APIs, databases, and system integrations.</p></li><li><p>Experience working closely with software engineering teams and participating in the full software development lifecycle.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of web and mobile application development processes.</p></li><li><p>Experience gathering, analysing, prioritizing, and translating business or product requirements into actionable technical requirements.</p></li><li><p>Experience working in Agile software development environments.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both te
