Product Owner

Assignment description We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join a team working at the intersection of business and technology. In this role, you will be responsible for defining product direction and priorities, ensuring that development and maintenance activities deliver strong business value. You will own and drive the product roadmap, manage and prioritize the backlog, and balance innovation, maintenance and technical debt. You will work closely with stakeholders across business, product and digital functions as well as with agile development teams consisting of developers, testers, architects and analysts. The role also includes contributing to architectural discussions and ensuring that technical solutions support business needs and desired outcomes. You will own and drive the product roadmap and strategy, gather and clarify requirements, define and follow up on relevant product metrics and support smaller cross-team initiatives. You will also ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations, identify and escalate risks when needed and continuously contribute to improving ways of working within the team and across interfaces. Qualifications You have several years of experience working in a development and maintenance organisation. You have proven experience balancing business value, financial considerations and product priorities. You have experience working in agile environments and managing product backlogs. You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Meritorious You have experience from telecom or digital customer journeys. You have experience working across multiple teams or driving cross-team initiatives. You have experience with product metrics and data-driven decision-making.
