Product Technical Specialist

For this client we are looking for a Product Technical Specialist. Assignment Description The position has a central role in securing serviceability, product quality and aftermarket readiness for new and existing products. You will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and act as an important link between development, service and the field. Tasks Representing Aftermarket in New Product Development (NPD) projects and Product Improvement (PI) forums, ensuring efficient product service. Communicate project information and timelines to relevant AM&S colleagues Initiate and develop technical documentation in NPD such as Individual Parts Lists, Workshop Manuals, service requirements, service kits, serviceability reports and maintenance plans. Initiate documentation updates with Parts Specialist in PI. Provide back‑end technical support when requested by the Tech Support team. Give Aftermarket input on priority in PI based on product quality data and Market feedback. Collaborate closely with PMO, Sales, R&D, Operations and service partners when required Provide structured warranty reports and statistics on product quality based on analyzed data. Perform product failure analysis, including hands‑on troubleshooting and root cause analysis in close collaboration with R&D and manufacturing . Develop and deliver technical training related to new product launches and provide support to the Technical Training Team upon request. Take a leading role in discussions around product quality with customers and service centres. Support continuous improvement activities such as process updates, tool implementations and reporting. About you We are looking for a driven and structured professional who will represent Aftermarket in development projects and product improvement forums, ensuring efficient service solutions and strong spare parts ownership throughout the product lifecycle. You have a strong Customer First mindset and sense of urgency, the ability to work cross‑functionally with a hands‑on. approach. Spare parts business acumen is considered a plus. Required skills University degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant technical experience. Strong general IT skills, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Experience of BoM. Solid technical understanding within electrical, electronic and mechanical design. Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken Meriterious Knowledge of hydraulics Experience working in database environments and systems such as ERP systems and Power BI is an advantage.
