Production Planner – Industrial Manufacturing About the Assignment We are looking for an experienced Production Planner for a consulting assignment within a large international industrial and technology organization in Västerås. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating and following up detailed production plans within an industrial manufacturing environment. You will work closely with functions such as procurement, project management, production management and other production planners to ensure that production schedules are aligned with the overall factory plan. A key part of the role is ensuring efficient use of production capacity, material availability and on-time delivery. You will continuously monitor execution against plan, identify deviations and support improvements when required. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on capacity, material availability and delivery requirements. Plan the sequence and lead time of production activities in line with the overall master production plan. Coordinate production plans with other planners and relevant stakeholders across the organization. Follow up production execution and ensure progress toward agreed delivery dates. Monitor production performance and identify root causes of deviations. Initiate and support relevant corrective actions and improvements. Work closely with Production Supervisors regarding capacity constraints, priorities and material availability. Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and rapidly changing production environment. Your Background We are looking for someone who has: Previous experience in production planning within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience coordinating production schedules, capacity, materials and delivery requirements. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly when conditions change. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Experience working with SAP is highly advantageous. Knowledge or experience within areas such as operations planning, demand planning, inventory management and integrated business planning is also considered valuable. About You You are structured, analytical and comfortable taking ownership of your planning responsibilities. You understand how individual production plans affect the wider manufacturing flow and are able to collaborate effectively across different functions. You are proactive in identifying potential bottlenecks and deviations and communicate clearly with relevant stakeholders to keep production moving according to plan.
