Production Quality Engineer

About the Role You will take on a hands-on quality role in a production environment where product quality, process compliance and continuous improvement are central to the operation. Here, you get to work close to production, support daily quality needs and help ensure that ways of working, tools and processes meet current requirements and directives. The role combines operational support with structured improvement work. You will represent production quality in dialogue with key stakeholders, follow up on quality status and help turn findings into practical actions. Job DescriptionYou support production in quality-related topics such as FAI, NCR, RCA, CA/PA, scrapping and CBM. You carry out quality assessments and problem-solving related to products, tools and processes. You provide floor support, including IPC support, training and participation in quality forums. You review and evaluate ways of working to ensure compliance with current requirements and directives. You contribute to qualification and validation activities. You take part in NPI projects and support quality work throughout the introduction of new products. You plan, perform and follow up on product audits, process audits and other audits. You analyze statistics from the non-conformance reporting system and use the findings to drive improvements. You report quality status, audit results and improvement progress to relevant stakeholders. You drive problem-solving and corrective and preventive actions within the quality area, including root cause analysis and corrective measures. You support initiatives that raise product quality and strengthen the organization’s way of working. You guide colleagues in the management system and help educate the organization in areas owned by quality. RequirementsYou have 1-3 years of experience or 4-8 years of experience in a relevant role. You have experience supporting production in quality-related work. You have worked with audits, quality follow-up and improvement activities. You are comfortable working with problem-solving, root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions. You can evaluate processes and ways of working against requirements and directives. You have experience from qualification, validation and NPI-related quality work. You can communicate quality status and improvement work clearly to relevant stakeholders.
