Project Leader Robotics – MES Implementation About the Assignment We are looking for an experienced Project Leader within MES and IT system implementation for a consulting assignment at a large international industrial organization in Västerås. The organization is currently undergoing a major transformation involving the establishment of a new production facility and the implementation of a modern Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The MES solution will play a central role in connecting business systems with production operations on the shop floor. As Project Leader, you will take overall responsibility for leading the MES implementation and ensuring the solution is successfully prepared for Go Live. You will work in a complex, cross-functional environment together with stakeholders from production, logistics, IT, business functions and external system suppliers. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate a team of approximately 10 people within MES and related system projects. Plan, coordinate and follow up project deliverables, timelines, risks and dependencies. Lead the development and implementation of the MES solution together with the system supplier. Drive the project through integration testing, functional testing, system integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Facilitate workshops, decision forums and cross-functional discussions. Ensure requirements from production, quality and logistics are captured and correctly implemented. Coordinate dependencies between MES, ERP/SAP and production-related systems. Support change management, communication and user readiness ahead of Go Live. Ensure progress across multiple stakeholders and parallel workstreams. Your Profile We are looking for a structured and experienced Project Leader who is comfortable taking ownership of complex IT and system implementation projects. You have: Proven experience leading complex IT or system implementation projects. Experience from MES implementations or similar production-related systems. Good understanding of how MES, SAP/ERP and production systems interact. Experience working in manufacturing, industrial or production environments. Strong project management skills, including planning, risk management, dependencies and stakeholder coordination. Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external system suppliers. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to drive progress and decision-making in a complex and dynamic environment. Fluency in Swedish and English. Experience from large-scale factory transformations, production digitalization or major Go Live programs is highly advantageous.
