Project Leader

Do you enjoy taking ownership, solving complex problems and making things happen? We at WeQuel are now looking for a Project Leader in Oskarshamn. You will join the customer's Industrial Engineering team as a parental leave replacement, focusing on installation and improvement projects that help develop the customer's industrial operations. The role comes with significant responsibility and freedom, and you will lead your projects independently. Success in this role depends less on extensive project management experience and more on your ability to lead, take initiative and deliver results. As a consultant with us, you get to work with one of our customers, who are leading companies in automotive, manufacturing and industry. You will help improve production, bring in new installations and build lasting improvements in industrial operations. Your responsibilities: Leading several parallel installation and industrial engineering projects of varying scope and complexity Project execution from planning through implementation Creating clarity and momentum and driving progress toward agreed goals Managing scope, timelines, budget and quality Coordinating stakeholders and communicating throughout the project lifecycle Identifying risks, handling challenges and finding practical solutions Delivering results that create business value and satisfy internal customers You will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, both independently and as part of a working group. When you hit obstacles, you start by understanding the problem and finding a solution. You know when to involve others, but you don't wait for someone else to solve the issue. Requirements: Several years of experience in roles centered on problem solving, responsibility and independent decision-making Experience leading people, teams, projects, initiatives or operational activities Proven ability to take ownership, lead others and move work forward Post-secondary education or equivalent experience Fluent English and Swedish, spoken and written Self-driven and proactive Reliable, structured and accountable Comfortable making decisions and setting priorities Persistent when facing challenges A clear communicator who builds confidence among colleagues and stakeholders Nice to have: Project management experience Experience from industrial or manufacturing environments Knowledge of installation projects, engineering, production development or continuous improvement Assignment details: Start: 2027-01-04 End: 2028-03-01 Location: Oskarshamn Workload: 100% Remote: 100% ONSITE (5 days/week in Oskarshamn) Type: parental leave replacement We offer: At WeQuel, you become part of a consulting team that puts people first.
