Project Manager – Manufacturing Investment Projects About the Assignment We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for a long-term consulting assignment within a global industrial and technology organization in Västerås. In this role, you will lead the execution of medium-sized to large manufacturing investment projects, taking overall responsibility for ensuring successful delivery in terms of scope, quality, cost, schedule, and safety. You will lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate both internal and external resources throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires strong leadership, a structured approach to project execution, and the ability to drive projects forward in a complex manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities As Project Manager, you will: Lead and manage medium-sized to large manufacturing investment projects from planning through execution and completion. Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, and contractual requirements. Ensure compliance with applicable Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and internal policies. Lead the project team and establish clear guidelines, responsibilities, priorities, and ways of working. Allocate and coordinate project activities across internal teams, suppliers, and other external resources. Monitor progress, milestones, risks, costs, and overall project performance. Identify challenges and proactively drive corrective actions when required. Motivate project team members and create effective collaboration between different functions and stakeholders. Provide performance feedback regarding resources allocated to the projects. Manage stakeholder communication and ensure alignment throughout project execution. Your Background: We are looking for someone with: Proven experience in project management within manufacturing, industrial operations, production, or a similar technical environment. Experience leading manufacturing investments, industrialization projects, production development projects, or other significant investment projects. Strong experience managing projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders. Good understanding of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and project follow-up. Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams. Strong leadership skills with a clear focus on results and delivery. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive projects forward in a structured manner. Professional proficiency in English. Swedish is considered an advantage.
