Project Manager

Assignment Description We are looking for a Project Manager to join a team working with industrial operations. The assignment requires full-time on-site presence and involves independently leading several installation and improvement projects of varying scope and complexity. Working with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will manage projects from planning through implementation. Your responsibilities include maintaining structure and progress, coordinating stakeholders, managing scope, schedules, budgets and quality, communicating throughout the project lifecycle, addressing risks and challenges, and finding practical solutions that create business value and meet internal customer needs. The role places greater emphasis on leadership, initiative and the ability to deliver results than on extensive project management experience. You are self-driven, reliable, structured and accountable, with the ability to make decisions, set priorities and work both independently and collaboratively. You approach challenges with persistence, take ownership of finding solutions and involve others when appropriate. You communicate effectively, build trust and have demonstrated the ability to lead others and move work forward. Required Qualifications: A background that includes leading one or more of the following: people, teams, projects, initiatives or operational activities. Post-secondary education, or a corresponding level of experience. Several years of professional experience in roles centred on problem-solving, taking responsibility and making decisions independently. It is considered meritorious if you have project management experience, experience from industrial or manufacturing environments, or knowledge of installation projects, engineering, production development or continuous improvement.
