Prototyping Engineer in the N3XT Maritime

About the Role We are looking for a highly hands-on Prototype Engineer to rapidly turn ideas into functional systems like maritime autonomous platforms . In the N3XT Team , you will build, test and iterate prototypes at the intersection of UAVs, marine systems, mechanics and electronics. This role is for builders — people who enjoy solving difficult engineering challenges and creating clever, practical solutions under uncertainty. What is your Day-to-Day Mission: Develop and build prototypes for next-generation drones and autonomous systems , including maritime platforms Design, integrate and test mechanical and electronic components Rapidly iterate concepts from idea → prototype → field testing Solve complex mechanical challenges with lightweight, robust and manufacturable designs Support integration of sensors, electronics and subsystems into operational prototypes
