Purchasing Business Developer / Project Manager PurchasingGothenburg, Sweden We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Business Developer / Project Manager Purchasing for an exciting assignment focused on product development and strategic purchasing. You will play a key role in leading and monitoring purchasing activities in an international, cross-functional environment. 🚀 About the role As Project Manager Purchasing, you will lead and follow up on purchasing activities throughout the product development process. Your responsibilities will include sourcing, supplier budget management, time planning, quality assurance and risk management. You will be a key member of cross-functional product development teams and collaborate with stakeholders worldwide. You will also work closely with the purchasing organisation and functions such as R&D, Quality and production during the industrialisation phase. 🛠️ Key responsibilities Lead and monitor purchasing activities within product development projects. Ensure that sourcing activities are completed according to agreed timelines. Manage and follow up on supplier budgets, quality and risks. Represent purchasing interests when developing product and project roadmaps. Collaborate with R&D, Quality, production sites and other internal functions. Coordinate activities across an international organisation with multiple stakeholders. Manage and analyse large volumes of data. Produce and present relevant insights and decision-making material using tools such as Power BI. Identify challenges and drive effective, long-term solutions. ✅ Required qualifications A university degree in Engineering, Technology or Business Administration. Two to five years of experience in purchasing and/or project management. Experience in the automotive industry and/or managing large, complex projects. Experience in strategic purchasing, sourcing and risk management. Ability to lead colleagues in a trustworthy and collaborative manner. Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional environments. A structured approach combined with an analytical and logical mindset. Experience handling large volumes of data and presenting insights using Power BI. Knowledge of DVP product development methodology. Professional proficiency in English. ⭐ Preferred qualifications Experience with relevant enterprise or purchasing systems. Experience working in international product development projects.
