QA Engineering Leader

We are now looking for a QA Engineering Leader on the behalf of our client. Scope of work: Summary: The QA Architect is responsible for defining and driving the quality engineering strategy for the CRISP platform, including test automation, quality governance, CI/CD quality controls, and cross-team collaboration. The role ensures scalable, secure, and efficient software delivery through modern testing practices, process optimization, and continuous improvement of quality metrics and engineering standards. About you: CRISP is our integration solution in our digital core retail offer, so it is important that you have been working data integration. Both Hub and spoke but also modern APIM. You are also aware of the cloud paradigm shift that has changed traditional QA function to a the more modern shift left QA with automation, more QA responsibility for self-contained product teams. QA Engineering Leader responsibilities are: Define and drive the quality assurance strategy, test architecture, and automation roadmap for the CRISP platform and development teams. Design, maintain, and continuously improve test frameworks, test tooling, and quality engineering standards to ensure scalable and reliable software delivery. Establish and maintain QA processes, governance, documentation, and best practices, ensuring consistency across teams and initiatives. Lead and support testing activities across the software lifecycle, including: - Platform testing - Integration testing - Automated testing - Performance and reliability testing where applicable Act as the QA representative for the platform in cross-team architecture discussions, engineering forums, and stakeholder engagements. Define quality gates and verify the effectiveness of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated validation, test coverage, and release readiness. Collaborate closely with the CRISP team to design and implement robust processes for source control management, build management, release management, and quality assurance, supporting secure and high-quality software delivery. Champion a quality-by-design culture, embedding testing, automation, and quality controls early in the development lifecycle. Identify and drive opportunities to: - Reduce manual testing and localization efforts - Increase deployment frequency and delivery agility - Decrease change lead time and operational overhead - Optimize QA tools, processes, and associated costs - Improve test reliability, automation effectiveness, and overall pass rates Define and monitor quality metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to continuously improve product quality, team efficiency, and delivery performance. Evaluate emerging testing technologies, automation capabilities, and industry best practices to continuously evolve the organization's quality engineering capabilities. To be a successful QA Engineering Leader, we expect: +7 years QA experience Good knowledge in NFR and especially in integration Good knowledge of modern QA activities in an autonomous DevOps team Good knowledge of engineering practices and principles Some knowledge of available QA tooling on the market Hands-on knowledge of using and coding test automation Nice to Have Knowledge of ITIL and service management processes Hands-on software engineering skills Start: 2026-12-01 Duration: 2027-05-31 (possibility for extension) Workload: 100% Location: Malmö We will present candidates on an ongoing basis, so if interested please don´t hesitate to apply!
