Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our quality assurance processes and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will lead a team of QA professionals, collaborating closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to create and implement effective testing strategies. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and methodologies to ensure product quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Define and monitor QA metrics to measure quality and performance. Testing Oversight: Oversee all testing activities, including functional, regression, performance, and automation testing. Ensure thorough test coverage and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results, and defects. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and project managers, to identify and resolve quality issues early in the development process. Facilitate communication between QA and other departments to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in QA and testing. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in QA tools and methodologies. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit) and manual testing processes. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
