Quality Assurance Engineer

We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Quality Assurance Engineer. This position reports to the Quality Manager and will work in Sparta, TN. About the position As Quality Assurance Engineer of the Sparta team, you will be involved in monitoring Internal and External Quality at the Plant Level and serves as a Liaison to Customers related to Production Quality, RGA, and Warranty. In addition, the Quality Engineer will provide shop floor leadership to Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspection while supervising the daily activates of Quality Technicians in assigned work areas. The Quality Engineer will be a key contributor to ISO 9001 activates and support other Quality functions in a fast-paced work environment. Your main responsibilities Ensure Product meets safety, regulatory, and performance standardsLead a Cross-Functional Team through the 5Why / 8D Process to resolve Customer Complaints via Root Cause investigation and Countermeasure implementationLead the Returned Goods Authorization process and work with Customers to resolve (RGA) claimsEnsure Quality Technicians complete daily Inspection and Testing, per requirementsReport Customer Quality Issues to the Management Team and provide Customer feedback in a timely mannerLead PPAP activity and provide submissions to the CustomerPerform Control Plan and SOP AuditsLead Containments, Sorting, and Rework activity related to any Quality spillsManage Inspections, RGA, Warranty, Corrective Actions in the Sparta 1Factory QMSWrite and present concise Reports related to Quality Issues, Warranty, KPIs, etc. What do we offer?
