Quality Engineering (Robotics)

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Operations Quality Engineer to support the organization with quality expertise and contribute to maintaining and continuously improving quality within production. The role has a strong focus on ensuring that production processes meet defined quality standards, targets, and KPIs. You will work cross-functionally with several parts of the organization, including Production, Production Engineering, Supplier Quality, and R&D. Key Responsibilities Monitor, analyze, and report quality parameters from production. Initiate and drive Lean Six Sigma activities and improvement projects to achieve departmental goals. Continuously identify improvement opportunities related to areas such as scrap, rework, and production quality. Manage and administer deviations in SAP. Provide quality support to Production, Supplier Quality, R&D, and other relevant functions. Support Production Engineering in the development of PFMEA and Control Plans. Initiate and drive production and delivery stops when necessary. Actively participate in the Andon process and support the efficient resolution of quality issues. Identify, analyze, and report quality issues to R&D and Production Engineering. Perform internal audits. Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives. Support customer-related quality matters and production projects. Support Quality Management with training and development of personnel in relevant quality areas. About the Role This position requires strong analytical skills, integrity, and the ability to manage several priorities simultaneously. You should be comfortable handling urgent quality issues while also maintaining a long-term focus on improving processes and overall operational performance. The role involves collaboration with multiple functions across the organization as well as interaction with suppliers and customers. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders are therefore important. Typical activities may include driving improvement initiatives together with production teams, performing root cause analyses and preparing findings for R&D, as well as leading Six Sigma improvement projects. Qualifications Strong knowledge and practical experience in quality management within production or an industrial environment. Solid experience with quality tools and methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, APQP, Control Plans, and PFMEA. Experience with root cause analysis, deviation management, and continuous improvement. Ability to independently lead quality and improvement initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally. Experience with SAP is considered an advantage. The terms and conditions for the assignment will be based on Ework’s framework agreement with the client.
