Field Service Engineer On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer to perform service and maintenance work on industrial robotic and automation systems. The position is based in Jönköping and involves working closely with customers as well as internal technical teams. You will play an important role in providing technical expertise, ensuring high-quality service, and supporting customers with both planned maintenance and technical issues. The role includes work both on-site at customer locations and, when applicable, through remote technical support. Key Responsibilities Perform troubleshooting, repairs, technical customer support, and preventive maintenance of robotic and automation systems. Diagnose equipment and system issues and provide recommendations to prevent recurring faults. Carry out both planned and urgent service assignments, with a primary focus on preventive maintenance. Support activities related to corrective maintenance, production monitoring, programming, and commissioning. Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs and providing specialist technical support and solutions. Identify opportunities for improvements and the development of new service solutions, equipment, and working methods. Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to ensure effective and high-quality service delivery. Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and responsible working practices. The position does not include on-call duties. Your Background Post-secondary technical education is considered an advantage, or equivalent relevant professional experience. Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals. Previous experience working with industrial robots and automation systems is highly advantageous. Experience with or knowledge of different vision systems is desirable. Knowledge of robot programming, for example RAPID or RobotStudio, is considered an advantage. A valid Category B driver's license and willingness to travel as part of the role. Strong safety awareness and a solution-oriented approach. Ability to adapt to different customer environments and technical challenges. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Strong communication and customer-facing skills. Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You are comfortable troubleshooting complex technical issues, taking ownership of your assignments, and working independently in the field. You approach your work with a strong focus on safety and quality and are motivated by finding practical solutions that help customers maintain reliable and efficient production. The terms and conditions for the assignment will be based on Ework’s framework agreement with the client.
