Quality Inspector / Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical Equipment – Consulting assignment within energy We at WeQuel are now looking for a Quality Inspector / Engineer in Finspång, where you will become an important part of a quality team handling Oil & Gas and complex projects, with focus on inspection and project quality management. The team covers quality demands all the way from proposal support, through the execution phase, until hand-over of equipment to the end clients. The team is part of the client's local quality organisation as well as its global quality team. Your tasks: • Planning and performing inspections at the client and at suppliers • Follow-up of inspection results and resolution of open issues • Participation in project meetings • Close collaboration with and support to the engineering team • Inspection coordination with classification societies • Role as Project Supplier Quality Manager (PSQM) when needed • Travel within Sweden and Europe, approx. 60% of the assignment time per year You work in a dynamic, international environment where you independently drive inspection activities forward while collaborating with engineering, project management and suppliers. Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of experience within inspection • Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering, and/or longer work experience within the inspection area • Knowledge of PED, ASME and/or structural design • Fluent English, spoken and written • Administrative skills and good knowledge of MS Office • Good communication skills • High level of order and structure • Structured and self-motivated • Flexibility to travel outside working hours and on weekends when required • Finspång as primary location – candidates based in central Europe (e.g. Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, France, the Netherlands) with the possibility to travel to the Swedish office are also welcome Meritorious: • Swedish • Knowledge of other languages besides English • Training or education with personal certificates related to PED, ASME, AWS, etc. • Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical engineering and equipment • Knowledge of / experience in SAP and PLM2020 Assignment details: • Start: 2027-01-04 – End: 2028-01-03 • Workload: 100% • Remote: 100% ONSITE (Finspång as base, approx. 60% travel in Sweden and Europe) • Location: Finspång • Last application date: As soon as possible We offer: At WeQuel you become part of a consultant team that values people first – we believe success is created through engagement, collaboration and development.
