Quality Manager
For our client, we are looking for a proactive and structured Quality Manager to take ownership of the innovative quality framework developed in their recent industry collaboration with eight major energy operators. About the client The client helps heavy industries and Energy rethink spare parts management — replacing slow, fragmented supply chains with a secure digital platform for on-demand production and collaboration at scale. About the role The person in the role today is going on maternity leave. The Quality Manager will be reporting to Chief Operating Officer (COO). This newly created role will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and embedding quality processes, standards, and documentation into our platform and across our network of partners and users. Key Responsibilities 1. Manage and develop technical documentation standards, including: • Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) • Technical datasheets • Templates for metadata, RFQs, quotations, and order execution 2. Oversee and evolve the client's audit process, ensuring alignment with relevant industry standards (e.g., API 20S, DNV-ST-B203) and customer expectations 3. Develop audit capability • Representing the client in interactions with manufacturing partners globally and eventually lead on-site audits • Plan and execute external audits of manufacturers 4. Translate quality and audit requirements into functional needs for our software platform 5. Collaborate with customer user groups to ensure mutual understanding of quality processes and digital requirements 6. Drive internal quality management practices, including our ISO 27001 implementation: • Monitor compliance • Project Lead internal and external audits • Manage corrective actions Competence requirements • Experience in quality assurance, auditing, or standards implementation (ISO, API, DNV, etc.) • Familiarity with industrial manufacturing or additive manufacturing is a plus • Understanding digital platforms and software requirements is an advantage • Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are a bonus Qualifications • Strong interest in quality management and continuous improvement • Ability to understand and work with industry standards and follow up on changes • Customer-facing experience and the ability to communicate clearly with end-users • Capability to translate operational needs into software requirements • Independent, structured, and hands-on mindset • Willingness to travel and engage with manufacturing partners Start date: asap End date: 6 months Optional extension: 6 months Work place: The job can be done at the office in Oslo, but it may also be a hybrid/remote solution.
