Range Area Manager

In IKEA of Sweden (Core Business Range) we design and develop all IKEA products that furnishes hundreds of millions of homes around the globe and contributes to a better everyday life for the many people. We are now looking for a Range Area Manager to Workspaces and IKEA for Business, a role where you will lead a diverse group of down-to-earth, straightforward people with a passion for life at home. You will lead the management team for the Range Area, and you will report to the Manager for Furniture Range Areas. Range Area Workspaces and IKEA For Business consist of HFB 3 Workspaces and IKEA For Business, two different businesses, but with many synergies. Workspaces is a big share of IKEA sales with 2,5 BEUR and with focus on supporting people’s key activities like Working, Learning and Gaming and known top families like ALEX, MICKE, MITTZON and LAGKAPTEN/ADILS to mention a few. IKEA For Business sales are 10% of IKEA sales and 4 BEUR, continuously growing and with an even higher growth potential. As the Range Area Manager in Workspaces and IKEA for business you: Are an experienced leader with proven record of range and business development and performance over time in a similar context Lead the creation of the HFB plan and portfolio and secure that it drives growth and positioning Lead the Range Area business in an efficient and effective way by collaborating with other Range Areas and other relevant stakeholders throughout the IKEA value chain Lead the IKEA for business agenda together with the other HFBs and across the IKEA value chain. Are used to prioritizing and simplifying for your teams and organization, for best use of time Your values-based leadership, leading by example every day, staying close to your team, and knowing your business are pre-requisites to lead, build and develop the Range Area. You have a development mindset, and you are comfortable exploring and not having all the answers. Leading with trust and give space for people to take own initiatives comes naturally to you. At the same time, you can give clarity, direction and you are confident taking both easy and challenging decisions. The Range Area Manager is crucial for our product development business, and we believe that your presence with the team and working most of the time in the office is important.
