R&D Technicians/Engineers

About Us: Ytsab Defence AB is a cutting-edge Swedish defence technology company specializing in electromagnetic weapon systems. We are involved in multiple EU-funded research projects, including projects under the European Defence Fund (EDF). We are now expanding our team with 2–3 skilled individuals to support our growing R&D and lab operations. What We're Looking For: We are seeking hands-on, curious, and driven team members with the following qualifications: Education and/or experience in electronics (e.g. electrical engineering, mechatronics, applied physics) Ability to write clear technical reports and documentation for EU-funded projects (in English) Flexibility and creativity to work with experimental setups and problem-solving in the lab Practical skills – confident with tools, measurements, soldering, setups, and testing Bonus: Experience with EU projects, military technologies, or prototyping environments Your Role Will Include: Supporting R&D activities in our lab (testing, setup, diagnostics) Documenting tests, writing internal and EU project reports Assisting with experimental trials, assembling components, and troubleshooting Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and international partners We Offer: A dynamic and future-oriented workplace Work on cutting-edge defence technology with EU and national stakeholders Room for creativity, innovation, and impact Competitive salary based on experience How to Apply: Send your CV and a short cover letter to jobb@ytsab.se with the subject line “R&D Technician Application – [Your Name]”.
