You are comfortable making decisions, solving problems and supporting others in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Experience from reception, hospitality, hotel operations or another guest-facing service environment will be valuable. Equally important is your ability to build trust, create engagement and lead by example. We believe you have: Experience from reception, front office, hospitality or another guest-facing service environment. Experience leading, coordinating or coaching people in daily operations. Ability to prioritize, make decisions and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with both guests and co-workers. Experience handling guest concerns, service recovery or similar customer situations. Ability to create structure, follow routines and contribute to continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to lead from the front and play a key role in how guests experience IKEA Älmhult every day. You will combine operational leadership, hospitality and team development while working in an international environment where people, culture and guest experiences are at the heart of what we do. If you enjoy leading by example, supporting others and creating memorable guest experiences, we would love to hear from you.
Älmhult is where IKEA began, and where we continue to challenge ourselves to find better ways forward.  People from all over the world come here to work, live, visit and experience the destination Älmhult and IKEA. It is a place where ideas become reality, where different perspectives meet and where we work together to create experiences that matter to co-workers, guests and the many people.  At IKEA Älmhult AB, around 270 co-workers develop and operate IKEA Museum, IKEA Hotell, restaurants, meeting places and experiences that make Älmhult a destination in its own right. As we continue to grow and develop, we are looking for people who want to be part of the journey.  And this is where you come in.
We recruit based on values, competence, potential and diversity, and we welcome applications from people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.  Please no later than 15 November. Apply with your CV only – there is no need to submit a cover letter. Instead, you will have the opportunity to tell us more about your experience through the screening questions in the application system. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as interviews may begin before the application deadline.  As we continue to support co-workers through organisational change, internal candidates may be considered alongside external applicants throughout the process. At the same time, we are excited to welcome new perspectives and experiences and look forward to hearing from candidates both within and outside IKEA.  If you have any questions about the role, the recruitment process, or if you require any adjustments during the recruitment process, please contact Recruiter Therese Carlsson at therese.carlsson1@inter.ikea.com or Hiring Manager Sara Schill at saracharlotta.schill@inter.ikea.com.   We welcome your application!
