Regional Issue Manager
For our client we are looking for a Regional Issue Manager . Description of the assignment Own project quality, NPDS deliverables, issue tracking, and milestone governance for the client towards China. Ensure transparent reporting, effective cross-functional coordination, and timely closure of project actions and deliverables. • Drive milestone and gateway governance with the RPL, including deliverable reviews and NPDS compliance. • Own project quality and NPDS deliverables for the client towards China. • Act as deputy for the Project Leader when required. • Own the execution, follow-up, and implementation tracking of SWIM, GQMP, JIRA, and New Star. • Compile status statistics and prepare progress presentations for project management. • Prepare quality, issue, Change Request, and milestone status reports. • Organize project meetings, document decisions, and follow up actions to ensure closed-loop completion. • Maintain project documentation and integrate the client's activities into global and short-term project plans. • Collect and follow up on tasks assigned to the RUPL during project meetings. • Coordinate issue and action status with responsible EU departments and China teams. • Support CRB preparation, reporting, and decision-making activities. • Review complete milestone status together with China Quality, RPL and China Project Leaders. • Align SWIM, GQMP, JIRA, and New Star status with China teams. • Report and align issue-tracking status with RDQC during test events. Qualifications and skills required for the role • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or related field • Have at least 5 years of experience in the automotive business and gained proficiency when working in or close to product development projects • Leadership and team coordination skills. • Strong ability to manage complex dependencies across multiple teams and regions. • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex topics and influence senior stakeholders across regions Personal attributes • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Analytical mindset for risk assessment and mitigation. • Organizational skills for planning and coordination. • Native mandarin is an advantage
