We are looking for a researcher to help develop a new targeted treatment for salivary gland tumors. As part of the project, the researcher will plan, design, and conduct research that includes, among other things, the culture of primary/short-term-cultured tumor cells in 2D and 3D models, drug treatment/screening, proliferation/apoptosis/spheroid assays, quantitative PCR, RNA-seq, and immunoblot analysis. The duties also include project management, supervision, and written and oral reporting of research data. ## **Qualifications** A Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., biomedicine or molecular biology) is required. Postdoctoral research experience in the field is preferred. Previous experience with cell-based assays, in vitro drug treatment, and the culture of salivary gland tumor cells is highly preferred. The position requires a high degree of precision, independence, and initiative. Applicants should also possess strong collaborative skills and a problem-solving mindset. We will place great emphasis on personal fit. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required, as we work in an international environment. ## **Employment** This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 11 months, based at the Institute of Biomedicine, Sahlgrenska Center for Cancer Research.
