Researcher in Electromagnetic Theory
we are looking for a researcher who can make a time-limited effort to document and package this code to make it usable for future use. ### Description of the work duties: - Documentation and packaging of an existing code based on open source code together with executable examples, and publication on an open-access repository. - To assist the research group, research within the subject area. - Collaboration with industry and wider society. - Administration related to the work duties listed above. ## Qualifications Appointment to a position as a researcher requires that the applicant has a PhD. ### Required qualifications: - A PhD or equivalent research qualification within electrical engineering. - Very good oral and written proficiency in English. - Knowledge of python and management of open source code. - Very good knowledge of numerical methods for electromagnetic computations. - Ability to work independently. - Ability to collaborate with others. ### Additional requirements: - Documented experience in developing electromagnetic computational codes, especially hybrids between finite elements and boundary integral methods. - Documented experience in open-source development. - Documented experience of collaboration with industry. - Documented experience with electromagnetic scattering problems. ## We offer Lund University is a public authority which means that employees get particular benefits, generous annual leave and an advantageous occupational pension scheme.
