Qualifications: B.S. degree in biological sciences, chemistry, or biomedical/chemical engineering (or related field) with 5+ years of relevant pharmaceutical, CRO, or biotech experience. M.S. degree in biological sciences, chemistry, or biomedical/chemical engineering (or related field) with 3+ years of relevant pharmaceutical, CRO, or biotech experience. PhD with 2+ years of relevant pharmaceutical, CRO, or biotech experience. Prior laboratory supervisory or team lead experience. Excellent writing and communication skills; ability to understand and communicate scientific information. Experience with the operation and maintenance of equipment commonly used in the process development of nucleic acids (experience with Atka Avant chromatography systems and Agilent HPLC systems is strongly preferred). Strong commitment to laboratory safety protocols. Attention to detail, analysis of data and troubleshooting abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel and adapt to changing priorities. Self-motivated with the ability to identify and solve problems proactively. Strong work ethic and excitement for leading an integrated operations team. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Experience building laboratory inventory management systems is strongly preferred. Knowledge of nucleic acid (mRNA, gRNA), LNP, and/or biologics process development. Knowledge of analytical methods used for nucleic acid and/or biologics process development, including HPLC, CGE, or ELISA experience.
