Factory Cut-Over Lead – Industrial Transformation About the Assignment We are looking for an experienced Factory Cut-Over Lead for a large-scale industrial transformation program in Västerås. The organization is establishing a new, highly automated production facility where production lines, logistics flows, automation solutions, infrastructure, systems and operational processes are being introduced and transitioned into a new integrated factory environment. This is a complex transformation involving manufacturing, logistics, engineering, IT/OT, automation and business systems. The technology landscape includes MES, SAP EWM, SAP ECC, Material Flow Control, AMR Fleet Management, Ignition/OPC UA, integrations, warehouse automation and connected shopfloor equipment. As Factory Cut-Over Lead, you will have a central role in defining, planning, coordinating and governing the end-to-end transition into the new factory environment. Key Responsibilities: Define the Cut-Over Strategy Establish the overall cut-over approach, scope, principles and governance. Define cut-over phases, readiness criteria, decision gates, freeze periods and escalation paths. Establish clear ownership and decision-making structures across participating functions. Translate the overall factory transition strategy into an executable cut-over framework. Develop the Integrated Cut-Over Plan Develop and maintain a detailed, dependency-driven cut-over plan covering activities before, during and after transition. Coordinate inputs across Production, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, Factory Systems, IT infrastructure, applications, automation and external suppliers. Align cut-over activities with equipment relocation, commissioning, testing, production stops, factory start-up and ramp-up. Identify and manage critical paths, dependencies, constraints and resource conflicts. Coordinate Systems & Data Cut-Over Coordinate readiness and transition activities across MES, SAP EWM, SAP ECC, MFC, AMR Fleet Management, Ignition/OPC UA and integrations. Coordinate migration, verification and activation of master and production data. Ensure production orders, warehouse activities, inventory information, routings, interfaces and application configurations are transitioned in a controlled manner. Connect technical cut-over activities with physical production equipment, warehouse solutions and connected devices. Operational & Supply Chain Transition Coordinate cut-over preparation across Planning, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality and Production. Ensure readiness for production stop and restart, material positioning, inventory and production sequencing. Coordinate changes affecting warehouses, supplier deliveries, inbound logistics and internal material flows. Ensure availability and correct movement of stock, WIP, finished goods and production-critical materials. Governance & Readiness Establish cut-over governance, reporting structures and escalation routines. Develop readiness checklists and entry/exit criteria. Maintain integrated cut-over trackers and RAID logs. Lead regular planning and readiness reviews. Prepare management reporting and input for go/no-go decisions. Ensure risks, issues and unresolved dependencies are identified and escalated. Lead Cut-Over Execution Lead and coordinate execution across factory, business, logistics, automation, application and infrastructure teams. Track execution against the approved cut-over runbook. Facilitate decisions and escalations during the cut-over period. Coordinate validation of systems, integrations, data, equipment and operational processes. Support production start and the transition into hypercare. Required Experience & Competencies We are looking for a senior professional with: Significant experience leading complex factory, site, ERP, MES, warehouse, automation or operational cut-overs Proven experience developing and executing integrated, cross-functional cut-over plans Strong experience from manufacturing or industrial environments Understanding of production planning, logistics, warehouse operations, master data and shopfloor processes Experience coordinating technical cut-over activities across applications, infrastructure, integrations, networks and production equipment Strong ability to manage critical-path dependencies across multiple projects, workstreams and suppliers Strong project/program management capabilities, including governance, risk management and senior stakeholder communication Experience translating high-level transition strategies into detailed plans and executable runbooks Strong leadership, facilitation and decision-making capabilities Ability to challenge unclear ownership, incomplete plans and unrealistic dependencies Preferred Experience: It is highly advantageous if you have experience with: Factory relocation or greenfield factory start-up SAP ECC SAP EWM / Warehouse Management Systems MES IT/OT readiness within automated manufacturing environments FAT, SAT, system integration testing and production validation Commissioning and hypercare Structured readiness assessments and go/no-go processes Cut-over command centre operations Assignment Details Location: Västerås Start: 26 October 2026 End: 30 April 2027 Scope: 100%, 40 hours/week Application Requirements To be considered for this assignment, the application must include: An updated CV The Required Template attached to this request, completed in full Consultant's availability/start date Requested hourly rate Please note: Completion of the attached Required Template is mandatory.
