Room Attendant

The Opportunity : The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, order, and overall presentation of guest rooms, suites, and associated areas at the country club. This role ensures that all accommodations meet the club’s high standards of comfort and hygiene, contributing directly to an outstanding member and guest experience. Duties And Functions Clean and reset guest rooms and suites, including dusting, vacuuming, making beds, and replenishing amenities. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors. Replace used towels and linens with fresh, clean items. Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the supervisor promptly. Ensure guest rooms are stocked with proper supplies, such as toiletries, water, and club literature. Handle guest belongings with care and respect privacy at all times. Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned, including carpet cleaning and high-dusting. Follow all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of chemicals. Restock housekeeping carts and closets at the end of each shift. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Qualification Standards High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent service. Professional appearance and respectful demeanor. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
