Sales Market Business Controller

As a  Sales Market Business Controller, your main focus will be to consolidate the Sales Market P&L across all channels. Turn performance data into simple actions, improve efficiency and profitability, and secure strong financial governance — across Area Teams and stores.   This role reports into our Controlling Manager and is based out of our México City Support Office.  A Day in the Life  Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities*  Consolidate the Sales Market P&L and rolling forecast; review results and share insights with the Region  Translate P&L findings into clear action plans; set targets and follow up with Areas and stores  Lead commercial & operational controlling across stores and online Drive efficiency in Sales market (e.g., OPEX control, inventory losses, logistics cost) - incl. area teams and stores  Track initiatives and savings to improve sales, margin, and cash flow  Govern pricing, promotions, markdowns, and stock together with Merch to protect margin  Together with Accounting team, secure accurate invoicing, approvals, and internal controls; ensure policy compliance  Track, steer and coach Area teams on KPIs and BI tools (e.g., Power BI)  Who You Are:   Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or similar field  5+ years in financial controlling, planning, or FP&A; retail or multi-channel experience is a plus  Well-established understanding of retail KPIs and seasonality  Strong financial intelligence with experience in P&L management, OPEX control, and forecasting  Proficient in MS Excel and financial planning/BI tools (Power BI, ERP systems)  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - analyze data, identify trends, and translate into clear actions  Strong stakeholder management with the ability to balance different perspective (e.g., commercial and financial)  Proficient in both languages English and Spanish  H&M se compromete a crear un entorno diverso e inclusivo y estamos buscando activamente candidatos calificados independientemente de su raza, género, identidad de género, cultura, características físicas y / o genéticas, condición social o económica, condición de salud, embarazo, idioma, estado civil, opiniones, identidad política o afiliación, orientación sexual y / o preferencias, etnia, religión, origen nacional, discapacidad o edad.
