Sandblaster

We Are Looking For Journeyman certification for Painting is preferred; however, we will consider candidates with significant related experience and a demonstrated track record in the trade. Minimum one-year experience in an industrial sandblasting environment. Valid Driver’s license. Experience on a skid steer or wheel loader would be an asset. Forklift and Aerial Work Platform certification would be considered an asset. Familiar with a variety of industrial coatings. Able to follow written and verbal directions. Operating knowledge of all related tools and equipment with the ability to operate in a safe and effective manner. Possess a strong attention to detail with outstanding organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Mechanical ability would be considered an asset. Physical Requirements Able To Lift and Carry 50 lbs. Work from height. Climbing, crouching, stooping, and working in awkward positions required. Working Conditions Must be able to wear all required and specialized PPE, including respirators and blaster hood. Working inside and outside in various weather conditions. Work involves exposure to dust and fumes. Working from heights, aerial platform or scaffolding.
