SAP Enterprise Architect (m/f/d)

Purpose The SAP Enterprise Architect supports the definition and execution of the future ERP strategy and ERP target picture for T-Systems. Acting as a senior expert within the ERP transformation environment, the role evaluates, consolidates, integrates, and optimises complex SAP landscapes across multiple enterprise platforms. The position focuses on translating business requirements into scalable enterprise architecture decisions and shaping a sustainable ERP target picture. In close collaboration with Finance, IT, Enterprise Architecture, and transformation teams, the role ensures that SAP capabilities, business processes, and platform strategies are aligned with the long-term ERP landscape and deliver measurable business value.                                                    WHAT WILL YOU DO? Support the development and continuous evolution of the ERP target picture and ERP strategy Evaluate complex SAP system landscapes with focus on consolidation, integration, harmonisation, and system retirement Define and support the implementation of the future ERP target architecture and operational landscape Translate business requirements and transformation objectives into scalable SAP architecture concepts and roadmaps Analyse SAP systems and processes across enterprise platforms (e.g. Finance, Billing, Master Data Management, cross-functional processes) Derive and structure architecture-driven backlogs for transformation initiatives Map business capabilities to SAP platforms and align applications, processes, and business requirements Support architectural decision-making across key SAP platforms and domains Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to standardise and harmonise enterprise processes Support SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives and evaluate future-fit architecture scenarios Contribute to architecture documentation, capability models, and process mapping using standard methodologies and tools Operationalise strategic architecture concepts into actionable implementation initiatives YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU: Fulfill Experienced Requirements Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP environments within large enterprises or international organisations Strong experience in SAP Enterprise Architecture and ERP transformation programmes Proven track record in evaluating and designing complex SAP landscapes Experience in translating business requirements into enterprise architecture concepts Experience in SAP S/4HANA transformations and hybrid SAP environments Experience in backlog structuring, prioritisation, and transformation planning Strong understanding of ERP processes and cross-functional integration Experience working in complex, cross-functional, and international environments Ability to operationalise strategic concepts into implementation-ready initiatives Certification SAP certifications (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, SAP Enterprise Architecture) are highly desirable TOGAF or other enterprise architecture certifications are a strong advantage Certifications in transformation frameworks or agile methodologies are beneficial IT Technical Skills Strong expertise in SAP ERP modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, PS) Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and transformation approaches Experience with enterprise architecture methodologies and tools (TOGAF, LeanIX, Signavio, Capability Mapping) Ability to assess and design complex SAP landscapes (integration, harmonisation, consolidation) Understanding of hybrid SAP environments and system integration patterns Experience translating business capabilities into system architecture Knowledge of architecture governance and modelling practices Soft Skills Strong stakeholder management skills across business and IT Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts to non-technical audiences Strategic thinking combined with strong analytical and structured approach High level of ownership and accountability Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Ability to work in cross-functional and global environments Strong collaboration and influencing skills Other Skills Strong capability in structuring complex transformation topics into clear architecture deliverables Experience with capability mapping and process modelling Ability to align strategy, architecture, and execution layers Strong documentation and presentation skills Experience working in large-scale transformation programmes Change and transformation mindset Language Requirements Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory German language skills are considered a strong advantage Other Criteria or Requirements University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field Experience working in international, matrixed organisations Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making Strong alignment with digital transformation and global ERP initiatives Ability to balance long-term architecture vision with practical implementation needs   Our brand Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia entered the life of Košice region in 2006 under the name of T-Systems Slovakia and ever since has been inextricably linked with the region when became one of the founding members of Košice IT Valley.
