SAP Supplier Portal Functional Consultant / SME

Key Responsibilities: Serve as the Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Supplier Portal, providing best practices and expertise aligned with SAP S/4HANA and Retail industry standards. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements for supplier management processes. Lead the functional design, configuration, and implementation of supplier lifecycle and supplier portal solutions using SAP S/4HANA and BTP. Partner with technical teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into high-quality technical solutions and system integrations. Drive seamless integration between the Supplier Portal, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, MDM, and other enterprise applications. Support supplier onboarding, supplier master data management, and supplier lifecycle processes, ensuring data quality and compliance. Troubleshoot functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions to end users. Conduct functional testing, support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate solution quality prior to deployment. Develop and deliver end-user training, user guides, and process documentation to promote effective adoption of supplier portal capabilities. Identify opportunities for process optimization and drive continuous improvements to enhance supplier collaboration and operational efficiency. Ensure supplier management processes comply with organizational policies, governance standards, and industry best practices. Prepare and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and enhancement documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Required Skills & Experience: 7+ years of functional experience in Procurement with SAP S/4HANA Good understanding of Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM), supplier onboarding, supplier qualification, and procurement processes Experience working with Master Data Management (MDM) and supplier master data governance Proven ability to gather business requirements, conduct workshops, and translate business needs into functional solutions Experience in collaborating with technical teams on system integrations, APIs, and interface design Hands-on experience supporting SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and production deployments Nice to have: Experience with supplier portals, Ariba is preferred Knowledge of Retail business processes and supplier management best practices Bachelor's degree in related field Eligibility Requirements: • US Citizenship required • Ability to obtain a government Public Trust Clearance As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
