SAP Technical Architect

We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Architect to join Deloitte’s SAP team in Stockholm. In this role, you will take a leading role in shaping the technical architecture for SAP transformation programs. You will work across SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, SAP Business Technology Platform, integration platforms, cloud infrastructure, security, performance, extensibility, and technical delivery governance. Your role will be to ensure that the SAP solution is not only functionally strong, but technically robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with the client’s enterprise architecture. You should bring deep SAP technical experience, a strong understanding of modern cloud and integration patterns, and the ability to translate business and solution requirements into practical architecture decisions. We are especially interested in candidates who can combine hands-on technical credibility with senior stakeholder communication, delivery leadership, and the ability to guide clients through complex technology choices. Responsibilities As an SAP Technical Architect, you will support clients across the solution lifecycle, from business process assessment through design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities. Lead SAP technical and application development workstreams across the solution lifecycle, including design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities Advise client technology and business stakeholders on SAP-enabled transformation priorities, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, custom development, extensibility, and enterprise integration Oversee technical design and delivery across SAP development and integration components, including ABAP, application programming interfaces, middleware, OData services, Core Data Services views, and connected enterprise applications Define and apply technical architecture standards, development methods, and quality controls to support scalable, maintainable, and secure SAP solutions Lead integrated delivery teams and collaborate with functional, data, security, infrastructure, and business teams to drive execution, resolve issues, and align technical solutions to business process transformation objectives Contribute to practice development through proposal support mentoring and recruiting support. We are looking for candidates with strong experience from SAP technical roles and complex SAP transformation or implementation programs. You have hands-on experience in areas such as SAP architecture, development, integration, Basis, security, cloud, or technical delivery, and you have played a leading technical role in at least one major SAP S/4HANA program. You bring a solid understanding of non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, resilience, security, compliance, maintainability, and operational readiness, and you can translate these into clear architecture principles, technical standards, and delivery guardrails. You are comfortable working with enterprise architects, client IT organizations, infrastructure teams, security teams, functional consultants, developers, testers, and project leadership. You can explain technical trade-offs clearly, support pragmatic decision-making, and maintain long-term architecture quality. Strong Swedish language skills are important for local client work, combined with professional English skills for Nordic and global collaboration.
