As our products, engineering organisation, and regulatory landscape continue to grow, so does the need for security that scales.</p><p>That's why we're looking for our first dedicated <strong>Security Platform Engineer</strong>.</p><p>This is more than a security engineering role. It's an opportunity to help define how security becomes an integral part of software engineering at Easee.</p><p>Rather than reviewing security after code has been written, you'll build the platform, automation, and guardrails that make secure development the natural way of working for every engineer.</p><p>If you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, automating security, and building developer platforms that enable teams to move both faster and safer, we'd love to hear from you.</p><h4>The Opportunity</h4><p>You'll join our Platform Infrastructure team and become the technical expert driving Security Platform Engineering across Easee.</p><p>Together with Platform Engineers, Software Developers, Product teams, Compliance, and external cyber security specialists, you'll design and evolve the security capabilities that underpin our entire engineering organisation.</p><p>You'll influence how security is implemented across more than one million connected devices while helping developers spend less time thinking about security—and more time building great products.</p><p>This is a new role with significant ownership, freedom, and opportunity to shape both technology and engineering practices from the ground up.</p><h4>What you will do</h4><p>As our Security Platform Engineer, your mission is simple:</p><p><strong>Build a developer platform where secure software becomes the easiest software to build.</strong></p><p>You will:</p><ul><li><p>Design and build security capabilities into our internal developer platform</p></li><li><p>Integrate security directly into CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes</p></li><li><p>Automate security controls using Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code</p></li><li><p>Build reusable security guardrails that development teams can adopt by default</p></li><li><p>Improve cloud security across AWS, networking, APIs, containers, serverless workloads, identity, and secrets management</p></li><li><p>Perform threat modelling, penetration testing, and proactive security assessments</p></li><li><p>Build automated monitoring and threat detection using AWS Security Hub, Datadog Cloud SIEM, and related technologies</p></li><li><p>Translate regulatory requirements such as NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act into practical engineering solutions</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with software teams to improve security without slowing development</p></li><li><p>Continuously evolve Easee's cloud security architecture as our products and organisation scale</p></li></ul><h4>We think you'll thrive if you</h4><ul><li><p>Enjoy building platforms rather than policing people.</p></li><li><p>You're someone who sees security as an engineering discipline—one that should be automated, scalable, and embedded into developer workflows instead of relying on manual processes.</p></li><li><p>You're equally comfortable discussing cloud architecture, security automation, and developer experience, and you enjoy working closely with engineers to solve problems together.</p></li></ul><p>You are:</p><ul><li><p>Self-driven and proactive</p></li><li><p>Curious and constantly learning</p></li><li><p>Comfortable taking ownership without waiting for direction</p></li><li><p>Collaborative and approachable</p></li><li><p>Able to influence technical decisions through expertise rather than authority</p></li><li><p>Motivated by building solutions that benefit an entire engineering organisation</p></li></ul><h4>What you bring</h4><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Hands-on experience building and operationalising security standards in an internal developer platform or cloud environment</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Experience implementing real-time security analytics and monitoring for threat detection</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Familiarity with AWS security tooling - Security Hub, Config, Secrets Manager - and policy-as-code tools like Open Policy Agent</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Understanding of network security, access management, secrets management
