Senior Accessory Designer to Fashion Company in Stockholm

We are looking for a creative and inspirational Product Designer with a track record of creating high-fashion jewelry and accessories. This is a consultant assignment at 80%, starting in November 2026 and running through June 2027. About the role New Development is a department within one of the world’s largest fashion companies. It is responsible for the brand-building collections, which consist of two concepts: Studio Collection and Guest Design collaborations, both global and local. The department’s purpose is to strengthen the brand, drive innovation and explore new opportunities for meaningful growth. The Guest Designer collaborations build fashion credibility and increase brand preference. The aim is to democratize sustainable fashion, add excitement and creativity to the customer offer, and create both instant buzz and long-term brand attraction. When we do something, we stop the world for a moment. The role sits in the Accessory, Footwear, Bags & Belts department, and you will report to the Assortment Manager at GD. You will work in a team of product managers, product developers and pattern makers, with new setups for each project. The team works at a high pace, with a collaborative mindset and a constant drive to improve the products. Job description As a Senior Designer at New Development Accessories, you will design accessories, shoes and bags from start to end for all Guest Design concepts. You will either take the design ideas from a collab partner and sketch them out, or co-create the accessory assortment. You will be in close contact with production offices, and sometimes directly with suppliers and vendors, building partnerships and finding new ways of working. You are curious, with a mindset driven by sustainability and innovation, and you combine a creative and holistic perspective in all parts of the product development process. As a person you are independent, driven and hands-on. You work in an organized and structured way that helps you prioritize, and you have strong communication skills and love to collaborate. You also have a flexible mindset and adapt easily to changes in a fast-moving and growing industry. Requirements A minimum of a BA qualification in Fashion/Textile Design Minimum 5 years’ experience at Designer level with a strength in overall collection building Deep knowledge across all accessory types, such as jewelry and sunglasses. Underwear and footwear knowledge is meriting Previous experience of working with international fashion brands Excellent technical knowledge of how products are created, with attention to detail, and experience working with premium materials Strong aesthetic and design process ability to create for the customer and for brand building missions Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite programs Fluent in English Practical information Period: 10 November 2026 to 29 June 2027 Scope: 80% Location: Stockholm, up to 10% remote For this assignment you will be hired as a consultant by Digitalenta.
