Senior Accounting Business Analysts – Financial Transformation

For our client, we are looking for three highly experienced Senior Accounting Business Analysts / Accounting Specialists for a large-scale financial transformation initiative. We are looking for senior consultants who combine strong hands-on accounting expertise with Business Analysis experience and are comfortable working between accounting, business processes and IT. The assignment involves transforming accounting functionality from several legacy solutions to a new cloud-based accounting platform, including integrations with source systems, business applications and downstream accounting and reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities Analyse accounting, reconciliation and reporting requirements and translate them into process descriptions, accounting patterns and system requirements Analyse and document financial business processes across multiple systems Define and describe accounting scenarios and patterns, including the use of T-accounts Translate business and accounting requirements into implementable functional and system requirements Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, integration teams and testers Support configuration and integration of accounting solutions Plan, prepare and execute tests of financial processes and accounting solutions Produce and maintain requirements, design documentation and test scripts Support deployment, release, troubleshooting and remediation activities Contribute to accounting standards, reconciliation principles and common ways of working Participate in agile ceremonies and cross-team planning Train and coach end-users in new accounting solutions Provide guidance and knowledge sharing within the project Required Experience & Competence Extensive hands-on accounting experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes Strong experience with reconciliation of financial records Ability to describe complex accounting scenarios and accounting patterns, including T-accounts Senior experience within Business Analysis / Requirements Analysis Experience translating accounting, reconciliation and reporting requirements into system requirements Experience testing financial processes and accounting solutions Experience from financial services or another highly regulated environment Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple systems and integrations Experience working in agile development environments Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Fluent written and spoken English Meritorious Experience with Oracle Financials Cloud or a similar comprehensive accounting platform Experience integrating large-scale and customized business applications with accounting platforms Experience with regulatory reporting Experience from large financial transformation or accounting transformation programmes Experience with Change Management and organizational transformation Experience training and coaching end-users Personal Profile We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to independently take end-to-end ownership of complex assignments. You should be comfortable working across accounting, business, IT, reporting and operations , and able to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
