About the Role You will work in an automotive environment focused on bringing ADAS and automated driving functions to the European market. In this role, you sit at the intersection of engineering, safety, and regulation, helping teams turn complex regulatory demands into practical development decisions. You will influence how functions are designed, verified, validated, and prepared for approval. The role spans both current and future ADAS capabilities, which means you will have a clear impact on product direction, technical quality, and market readiness. Job Description You interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into clear technical and functional requirements for ADAS development teams. You guide the design and evolution of ADAS functions and features to support compliance throughout the product lifecycle. You review verification and validation strategies, including KPI definitions and assessments, in line with regulatory and safety expectations. You lead and support homologation activities, including technical documentation, approval dossiers, and on-site support during homologation testing with approval authorities. You monitor regulatory developments such as UNECE and EU updates and assess how they affect ADAS roadmaps, function design, and release planning. You collaborate closely with engineering and safety stakeholders to create a practical path from requirement to approved function. Requirements 10+ years working with ADAS or automated driving systems in an OEM, Tier 1, or technical service environment. Strong knowledge of EuroNCAP and ADAS relevant regulations, such as EU 2019/2144 GSR, UNECE R79, R171, R157, and related EU regulatory frameworks. Proven experience in homologation processes, including interaction with approval authorities and technical services. Familiarity with functional safety (ISO 26262), SOTIF (ISO 21448), and safety case thinking. Experience with Canalyzer, Canoe, DSA, and SystemWeaver. Willingness and flexibility to travel for extended periods, typically a few weeks and up to one month, to support homologation activities on-site. Swedish driver license.
