Senior AI Automation Infra Engineer to Handelsbanken

Join Handelsbanken’s AI & Automation department as a Senior AI Automation Infra Engineer and help shape the future of Sweden’s most trusted bank. You will build, operate and evolve the infrastructure and automation platforms that enable secure, reliable and scalable automation across the bank. Your team We are on a mission to lead the industry in AI & Automation, delivering smarter products, services and experiences for our customers and colleagues. Our team combines expertise in infrastructure, automation, security and platform operations. We work closely with our sister AI Platform team and other teams across the bank to provide secure, reliable and scalable platforms for automation. Your role As a Senior AI Automation Infra Engineer, you will develop, operate and improve the infrastructure behind our enterprise automation capabilities. A key part of the role is maintaining a stable and secure platform today while helping shape how it should evolve in the future. We are moving towards more containerised and Kubernetes-based environments, giving you the opportunity to influence both the architecture and the hands-on implementation of that transition. Your main responsibilities will include: Operating and developing our UiPath platform and supporting infrastructure. Contributing to the architecture and implementation of our future Kubernetes-based platform. Troubleshooting complex platform and infrastructure issues and carrying out root cause analysis. Improving deployment, security and operational practices through DevSecOps and automation. Driving technical improvements, standardisation and infrastructure automation. You will collaborate closely with automation developers, platform engineers, security specialists and other technical teams across the bank. Your profile You have several years of professional experience within Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform Engineering or Automation and are comfortable working with business-critical platforms. We are looking for someone with: Strong knowledge of infrastructure and platform operations. Hands-on experience with Linux and a good understanding of Windows Server environments. Strong architectural and practical knowledge of Kubernetes and containerised platforms. Experience with DevSecOps, Git and infrastructure automation. Strong troubleshooting skills and a good understanding of networking, security and system design. Experience with enterprise automation platforms, particularly UiPath and UiPath Orchestrator, is highly valuable. It is also beneficial if you have experience with some of the following: Azure DevOps Ansible Active Directory, IIS or SQL Server PowerShell or Bash REST API integrations You are willing to learn, or already have, Swedish language skills. As a person, you enjoy solving complex technical problems and take ownership of the solutions you build and operate. You work in a structured way, enjoy sharing knowledge and are comfortable contributing both to technical direction and hands-on implementation.
